We use a mix of local and regional artists working in precious metals, stones such as peridot and garnet from around the world, and other natural materials that have meaning and value to us.  Materials such as local beach glass worn smooth by Lake Superior's waves.  (We collected it as kids.)  Or antique dress buttons from grandma's button box.  (Growing up, we made button "gardens" from them.)
