We'll show you how! If you've got the urge to bead, we've got the class. Never touched a bead? Don't know where to start? Don't worry; most of our classes are geared toward the novice. For instance, we can show you how to select materials, string, and finish a simple stone necklace in one class. Need help mastering a new technique? Then sign up for one of our intermediate or advanced classes. How about learning to make those little peyote beaded beads for a colorful, textured bracelet? Registering is easy. Call, email, or write us for this summer's class list and we'll mail it right out - and put you on our mailing list for the next round, offered this fall. We hope to continue classes year 'round, in fact. And, of course, we'll keep expanding our Bead Salon with treasures from around the world. Private classes designed just for you. Bring your friends for a private beading class of your choice next time you're in Bayfield. We've taught girl scouts, girl friends, and birthday girls! (And even some guys.) Learn from working artists. Debby Chatterton will teach most of our classes. Debby love expressing herself through beading as well as silk painting and other fiber arts. She especially enjoys teaching, she says, because "it's such a pleasure seeing people use their artistic side." Her easy-going style will lead even absolute beginners through class with ease and understanding. We'll call on other Water Music staffers to teach their specialties, as well. Our other news: we are excited to offer two new jewelry lines from regional designers. Gretchen Gray offers fantastic strung stone and sterling necklaces and bracelets. Superkarin (a.k.a. award-winner Karin Jacobson) goes modern with sleek, brushed sterling rings, earrings, and pendants. Ah, so much jewelry and so many beads . . . . Greetings from Bayfield,
Mary Gardner |
